Welcome to my creative world
If you could walk the beach all day, listening to the waves, looking for rocks and finding your peace – my print collection will speak to you.
If your favorite vacation started with a drive Up North – my postcards were made for you.
If a house on the lake is your dream, or your reality – your heart will find it’s home in my Lake Series.
Everyday I am inspired by the beauty of our region, shaped by the Great Lakes, decorated by historic landmarks and painted with the brush of mother nature. I love to share my passion for the places I visit. They are captured with watercolor and ink, in a sketchbook until I’m ready to share them with you.
I hope my artwork transports you to a place that brings you joy.

I am a sketchbook artist
My current favorite tools are watercolor markers and ink pens, on mixed media spiral sketchbooks, not larger than 9×12. I travel light so I can work on a boat, at the beach or in the studio. This sketchbook style, along with my handwritten notes or titles is how I interpret the world. It’s my souvenir from a day well spent.

I teach the art of pysanky
My great-grandmother immigrated to Michigan from Ukraine and brought with her rich traditions which we still celebrate. She passed before I was born but I marveled over her hand-dyed eggs known as pysanky. At twelve I was gifted a kistka, wax, dyes and a book to learn. I’ve been making them every year since. Now I teach this Ukrainian craft to keep the tradition alive.

I fell in love with rug tufting
While exploring ways to get off the computer, and stop scrolling on my phone in the evening, I discovered rug tufting. It put me on my feet instead of parked in a chair. Several years, multiple tufting guns, frames and a wall of yarn later, and I’m still in love with this fiber art. Follow my Instagram for demos and work-in-progress clips.
